Testing phase

ArgoCD on Platon is currently in a testing phase. If you want your team to be included, contact the Platon team on #platon on Slack and include the path to your GitLab project.

Here you will find information about how to use ArgoCD for GitOps-based continuous delivery of your applications on the Platon platform.

What is ArgoCD?​

ArgoCD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. It monitors your Git repository and automatically synchronizes your cluster state to match what is defined there. This means your Git repository is the single source of truth for your deployments.

  • Declarative deployments - describe the desired state in Git, ArgoCD makes it happen.
  • Automatic or controlled synchronization - review environments update on every push, while production waits for someone to click Sync.
  • Rollback made easy - revert to any previous state by reverting a Git commit.
  • Visibility - see the live state of your applications and spot drift immediately.
